KSDK -- Would you sacrifice your pay so that
someone else could get paid more? Or better yet, could keep their job?
That's what's happening in the Fox School District in Arnold, Missouri.
All 48 school administrators are turning down their pay raises for the sake of their teachers.
Tammy Cardona is an assistant principal for the 11th grade class.
She's also a wife and mother, with two college-bound children. Even
with those looming costs, she's giving up her $4,000 pay raise. And
she's happy to do it.
"Oh, it was a fantastic feeling," she said.
