We Are One Community Choir

Just another reminder, the new We Are One Community Choir will have its
first performance on April 1st at Seckman Sr. High in the small gym.
Please come out and see this new choir. The concert is free, however we
will be taking donations afterwards which will go entirely to the Fox
and Seckman High School vocal music departments. With the recent cuts
in the state budget and cuts to the schools, you know that the support
of fine arts will likely be first to go. These kids will need all the
help that they can get. THIS is what the community choir is all about.
So come on out, support us, and help us support the kids!

A sample from our last rehearsal! Come on out on April 1st, 7 pm Seckman High!

April 1st concert went very well. It was held at Seckman High School. Many thanks to First Baptist Church in Arnold for providing us a place to rehearse and much support, EaglePoint Community Church for setting up their chairs that they use for services, and providing their sound equipment, Fox School District, Seckman High school admininstration AND maintenace and custodial staff! They were great in helping us set up! Also, the Glore Family Foundation for their generous donation to help get us operational.
Over $500 was raised and has been presented to the Vocal Music Depts of the Fox and Seckman High Schools.
Rehearsals for our next program, which will be June 25th, are set to start on Monday May 10th, 6:30 pm at the First Baptist Church of Arnold. This concert will be patriotic in nature. If you are interested in joining us, please come and audition (a simple audition in front of the director). We would be happy to have you!
